Imagine a flexible cottage that adapts to the needs of its inhabitants by means of movable elements – and can also change its location from time to time. In other words, a true "mobile home"!

"Micro Housing" and "Minimalism" are trends that will have a lasting impact on our future of living. We have considered and implemented these specifications in the design of the ContiHome - in the design of the exterior and interior. A holistic design concept with customized and different surface materials, design elements and functional areas that can be selected variably. Particularly flexible are the multifunctional furniture that functions as a sideboard, workstation or dining room, the fold-out terrace and hidden storage space in the staircase and seating area.

Sleeping, cooking, eating, relaxing, working – and all this pleasantly and variably integrated in the "smallest" space. Coordinated entertainment and mood features, such as light and sound, create atmospheres that optimally support each selected option.

The ContiHome is our answer to densely populated residential areas, rising rents, and the growing demand for more sustainable living alternatives. It offers flexibility and agility, ensures quality instead of quantity, and incidentally, living in a small space is not only significantly more environmentally friendly, but also more comfortable in our ContiHome.

We placed a lot of emphasis on ensuring that the various materials, shapes and colors harmonize perfectly with each other, which is particularly important in a small space. Holistic design also plays an important role regarding the different living situations for which the ContiHome can be used.

The overall design is inspired by a current trend: We opted for industrial design and thus for a striking, straightforward, pragmatic approach. "Less is more" is also key in the design language, predominantly in polygonal shapes. For all its modernity, which is documented primarily in black and anthracite tones, warm natural tones are also used. We also show our creative potential on the outside: The exterior facade surprises with a material mix of deceptively real-looking wood and extremely matte, dark surfaces.

Our business unit has its own design center with passionate and curious employees, all of whom have a high level of design competence as well as expertise in surface design for industry. Our developments are based on regular worldwide trend research. This results in a constant stream of new surfaces with innovative properties. Our goal is to combine design elements and intelligent function in a harmonious and meaningful way.

In addition, the surfaces used are amazing in terms of their durability or ease of care - without compromising on elegance, modernity and aesthetics. All this makes our home so versatile - whether it functions as a residence, workplace or vacation home.

In our ContiHome, we show that we can offer surface solutions for a complete building, for exterior and interior applications. All surfaces used are manufactured with German know-how according to the latest state-of-the-art technology.

The ContiHome is flexible, robust, mobile – and above all small. Living in a "micro space" is significantly more environmentally friendly and conserves resources than living in a large house. This is because a small house has less living space, consists of fewer building materials and consumes less energy.

Our goal is to meet consumers' needs for sustainable products by using recyclable materials. The surfaces for window profiles are 100 percent recyclable, which means they can be used in the production of new window elements and recycled. We generally strive for durability in our developments so that our materials can withstand all the demands of life. All surfaces used in the ContiHome are of high quality and extremely durable. That is why they often have more than one life cycle.

In this way, we promote a thorough circular economy, attach importance to sustainable supply chains and offer good and fair working conditions. We continuously research sustainable raw materials for our products.

An innovative highlight is the clock in our ContiHome, which shows its time through a backlit translucent material. "Hidden" in the kitchen is an electronic fireplace that works with water vapor and can also be used as a room divider. A multimedia system with a monitor above the sofa seat delights with a new convenient networking of functions.

Our surfaces have many different smart features, are illuminating, functional, at the same time very easy to clean and do not require maintenance.
