Wear Layer
Continental's wear layer is formulated and manufactured to provide good dimensional stability and readily bonds to PVC print layers. The wear layer vinyl has excellent stain and wear resistance and is the industry leader in color consistency. The stabilizer system is free of mercury, lead and cadmium. This product is also formulated without ortho-phthalate plasticizers making it a safe choice for consumer use.
Core & Back Layer
Creating balance within the construction is essential in maintaining dimensional stability. Continental vinyl is formulated and manufactured to meet these critical needs. The use of carefully tested and selected post-production and post-industrial recycled vinyl, along with a unique manufacturing method, allows Continental to produce the highest quality luxury vinyl components. The vinyl is free of mercury, lead and cadmium, and is formulated without ortho-phthalate plasticizers.
